Quinta do Vale is located in the Municipality of Sintra, 18km from Lisbon, Portugal. The whole area is in the protected zone of the Serra de Sintra, a nature reserve which is listed as a world heritage site. Sintra is a tourist destination with cafes, restaurants and 3 castles some dating back 2000 years. The house itself is at the end of a quiet cul de sac at the foot of the Serra de Sintra Mountains.
