Bahar Rainforest Retreat is the ultimate sanctuary in the heart of the forest, surrounded on three sides by the pristine Wilsons Creek and its own large swimming hole just meters from the deck. The Wilson Creek valley region represents more than 70% of the rainforest area in the Byron Shire.
Situated 35-40 mins from Byron Bay this private 83 acre paradise has a magical feeling. Birds create the soundtrack as the sun glistens through the lush rainforest. The rocks are illuminated by the rays of the morning sun as the mist slowly rises up the valley between the palms and dense greenery. Wilsons Creek is a place of beauty, with an eclectic history attracting artists, naturalists and healers.
Entering the perfectly positioned timber home, one immediately feels a sense of warmth, with its high ceilings, fire place, ducted heating, timber floors, open plan kitchen, dining and living room. The house is surrounded by generous timber decking with an outside living area overlooking the glistening pool of pristine flowing water from Mt Jerusalem and its heritage listed national park. This is a wonderful opportunity to enjoy this paradise, which is as relaxing as it is rare.
Bahar Rainforest Retreat has a part time manager. Depending on your personal requirements during your stay we can organise massage, a cook, yoga, as well as cleaners. There is weekly garden maintenance and a manager who can assist you with any problems that may arise.
LOCATION
There is parking for 2 vehicles behind an electric gate and for 4 vehicles outside. You will be close to numerous towns in and around the Byron Shire including Byron Bay, Bangalow, Mullumbimby, Brunswick Heads and Federal. It is a 5 minute drive to the local cafe, 20 minutes to the Crystal Castle and 30 minutes drive to Minyon Falls and Whian Whian Forest for some of the most pristine landscapes in Australia. There are numerous restaurants, shops, beaches and activities all within a 20 minute drive from the property. You have found paradise in the hinterland of Byron Bay.
Bahar Rainforest Retreat is on a large property of 83 acres of pristine rainforest. There are other properties up and down Upper Wilsons Creek Road with many wonderful neighbours who share a common love for pristine nature, healthy living and a creative lifestyle.
