Sydney Polo Club is one of Australia’s first polo clubs dating back to 1870. Located in the historic town of Richmond (New South Wales) its colonial heritage has created Australian legends and promotes the legacy of Banjo Patterson.

We proudly celebrate the heritage Richmond offers, with a view to share its unique rural landscape with those that appreciate the honesty and integrity the land has to offer.

Sydney Polo Club sits on over 450 acres of prime agricultural land featuring manicured gardens, breathtaking views and accommodates a host of large animals.

The property is owned and operated by the Higgins family, with a dedicated family-orientated passion for the land, the environment and the local community.

Sydney Polo Club’s equestrian centre offers exceptional facilities dedicated to all aspects of equine sports and therapy. In addition to being a working farm and housing world-class polo fields, Sydney Polo has become Sydney’s premiere backdrop for commercial photography for fashion and lifestyle shoots.

The unique landscape and spaces across over 450 acres offer exceptional locations from open fields, barns, houses, lakes, the Hawkesbury River and access to an array of animals available onsite for movies, television, publication and magazine shoots.

Previous productions include The Great Gatsby (2013), The Bachelor S2 E2, Home and Away Ep. 5871, and recent magazine publications include Hello May, Real Weddings, Modern Bride and R.M. Williams A/W 2014.
