Nestled at the foot of picturesque Mount Warning, Wolumbin Fields is situated 4km from Uki and just 10 km from Murwillumbah. This beautiful, historic Queenslander originally belonged to the owners Aunt and Uncle and was located in Labrador on the Gold Coast where it ran as a restaurant for nine years before finding its true home in its current magnificent location.
Named after the owner’s mother, who was a huge epicurean inspiration, Wollumbin Fields food philosophy has always been about low food miles and environmental sustainability. The Chefs pick fresh produce from the vegetable patches built using recycled materials and the property boasts an orchard consisting of a variety of citrus bearing trees. There is also a mountain spring with unlimited water supply; a dam and lush green rolling lawns.
With over 90,000 visitors each year passing its doors to climb Mount Warning, Wollumbin Fields has become a renowned brand throughout the region and a destination venue. There is a restaurant with seating capacity for over 100 guests operating 5 days a week (with potential to do 7 days a week) and a separate function space. The accommodation currently includes a 2 bedroom farm house and three 1 bedroom cabins (including an old converted dairy bales) with the potential for four more cabins making it a perfect and sought after venue for weddings and functions.
Wollumbin Fields represents a fabulous business and lifestyle opportunity and an inspection of this charming property is a must.
