The Northern Rivers Region is the East Coast of Australia’s stunning highly sought after beachside destination. The relaxed lifestyle and casual beach vibe is complimented by the mild all year round temperatures of this sub-tropical region, allowing for a sun filled, outdoor living. With its 300kms of pristine surf beaches alongside some of Australia’s most significant World Heritage-listed reserves and a host of spectacular National Parks and state forests it’s no wonder why the region is so popular.

The undulating hinterland of the Northern Rivers stretches from the mighty Clarence River up to Tweed Heads on the Queensland border is filled with lush rainforest valleys and dotted with quaint towns, dairy farms, ancient volcanoes, deep river gorges, sugar cane fields, macadamia forests and coffee plantations. Truly a place to restore the senses.

Another wonder of this region is the quality, variety and sheer abundance of fresh food.  Roadside stalls brim with avocados, macadamias, paw paws, melons, peaches, blueberries, bananas, and farm fresh vegetables.  Already renowned for bananas, seafood, dairy products and beef, the region is fast developing a reputation for being an epicurean odyssey.

Byron Bay is a notorious town of the Northern Rives famous for its uniquely Australian, but highly cosmopolitan way of life. A place of blissful existence where barefoot executive meets dreadlocked surfer meets yoga master. Absolutely no-one is out of place here and if nothing else, what they have this in common is an appreciation that the region offers an unrivalled quality of life.
