The objective of Tarifa Natural as the owner of land in the National Park fronting the Strait of Gibraltar in southern Spain, has always been to establish an eco and rural tourism resort
Due to changing world markets, it has been decided to implement a strategy of staging the development by building a number of farm houses to optimize in the short term, the value of this land with over 1km of peaceful ocean front on the Strait that overlooks the African coast just 14 km away.

In relation to the business plan of establishing 45 houses, we now in the immediate future believe that having an alternate proposal to achieve our goals would be, to first establish the farm houses and if possible at a later date continue with an altered plan to incorporate the original business plan.

Under current planning provisions it is permissible to resurrect a number of derelict buildings (ruins) which were once military installations and to establish farms. The farm house applications would include a rural tourist permission that all have access to the coastal front.

This alternative plan will provide security, options and capitol growth.

Plan B

  1. Resurrect ruins
  2. Establish access  to ruins and sites to farm houses
  3. Establish 3-4 farm house sites
  4. Plan different size farm houses relative to the nominated areas
  5. Plan types of farming to be carried out on each farm
  6. Apply for rural tourism on all farms
  7. Integrate infrastructure systems as in the original document
  8. Create activities on land
  9. Create activities in sea

Construction

The farm houses would be constructed on different titles, of which the size has to be a minimum of 30,000 m2.
Tarifa Natural has 8 titles, with the largest being +/-140,000 m2.
A number of titles would have to be combined to make up the minimum of 30,000 m2.
The farm houses would be constructed in typical Spanish style.
