The Darling Point Pad is the entire top floor of a grand 1930’s home on the western side of Sydney’s inner city suburb Darling Point which overlooks Rushcutters Bay. The property overlooks a large private traditional garden with a stunning date palm and has the perfect north-west aspect, which is protected from the prevailing winds and basks in all day sunshine.
From the wide deck that spans the width of the property, the sunsets are especially breathtaking as they overlook Sydney Harbour where the bridge, ferries and sailing yachts dominate.
The classical yet modern layout provides the important lifestyle elements, including a functional kitchen and two bedrooms, both with harbor views. The master bedroom has double windows, air-conditioning, a king size bed and an exotic feel, beautiful art, built in wardrobes and high ceilings. The charming room retains many of the original features including a beautiful large French chandelier and a 40’s bathroom with deep bath.
