This beautiful villa lies only 4km from Sorrento in a residential area called San Montano. San Montano was once a fishermen's village and is now an agricultural centre renowned for the production of a particular kind of delicious lemon. This unique town was a holiday resort long before the advent of modern tourism, famous for its houses and miniature gardens leading down towards the sea and the island of Capri providing a spectacular backdrop for visitors to gaze upon.
Villa Bouganville has a preserved and beautiful old lemon-orchard which is surrounded by a portico. The terraced garden allows one to enjoy some of the most beautiful views in the world, views that can be most enjoyed from the 4.5 x 10 metre swimming pool. The villa is divided into two buildings that are joined together and face toward the sumptuous garden and ocean beyond. From the beach there is a footpath about 1 km long that leads straight to a little village on the sea called Marina della Lobra where you will find a bar and a food shop. The villa owners are also able to organize cooking classes in their villa in Sorrento upon request.
