As you drive up the winding driveway to Harry’s Hideaway you’ll have the sensation of entering your own private and tranquil oasis. The spacious, architecturally designed home has a truly luxurious feel boasting extensive, manicured and tropical gardens, high level fittings and fixtures and enjoying coastal and rural views from its stunning secluded position atop a hill overlooking the Pacific Ocean.

The central part of the home is large open plan with a modern and fully equipped kitchen looking into the expansive lounge and dining area. The kitchen should contain all that you need; there is a large oven, with a five gas burner stove. The fridge is large and here is a microwave oven and dishwasher. Three large windows slide open to create a large servery onto the deck area.

The louvers throughout the living area are an excellent way to keep the house cool and breezy during hot days. There is a large King Furniture couch in the living room which becomes a double bed and a day bed from where you can relax overlooking the pool and views down to the ocean. This space adjoins the magnificent pool and outdoor four burner BBQ area seamlessly with glass sliding doors on all sides making for easy and fun entertaining.

The master bedroom is an outstanding feature of Harry’s Hideaway with its Queen size bed, walk-in robe and lovely views and access to the pool via glass sliding doors. There is an adjoining ensuite that looks into the bedroom and also leads into the gardens. Two further bedrooms have Queens size beds and built in robes and a fourth bedroom has two King Singles. There are two bathrooms with a hairdryer in each. We enjoy leaving the sliding doors open when showering in the main ensuite – and louvers in the second bathroom to take in the view of the gardens.

This is an outstanding location for a truly memorable getaway, central to all the Tweed and Byron Shires have to offer and a short drive to the fabulous Gold Coast. It is a coastal-rural retreat privately located on 9 acres on the magnificent Tweed Coast. You can picnic in the paddock in the afternoons. The light created by the setting sun down there is lovely and tranquil. It’s also fun to walk through the established forest to the right of the driveway on the way down the hill.

Harry’s Hideaway is just 7 minutes from the gorgeous seaside village and pristine beach at beautiful Pottsville and close to the famous surf breaks at Cabarita, Kingscliff and Black Rock; only 20 minutes to the Gold Coast Airport and 25 minutes to Byron Bay. The coastline here is magical and famous for its beaches, surfing, fishing and boating.
