Altitude 261 is where the rugged mountain ranges of the NSW far north coast meet the Pacific Ocean. Surrounded by national parkland, escarpment and rainforest, your retreat offers absolute seclusion combined with the convenience of easy access to Bryon shire's many attractions.

The perfect place to forget it all and just enjoy the absolute peacefulness of its mountain setting. Whether you prefer to unwind with a book by the pool, or with a glass of wine next to the fire, Altitude 261 delivers relaxation, peacefulness and serenity in abundance.

Altitude 261 contains two large lounge areas perfect for relaxing, which enjoy the spectacular views. The white lounges are completely view orientated, and there is a raised telescope to spy on what's happening on the ocean (you'll see humpback whales during the migration season!). The sunken red lounge is perfect for enjoying a film with a glass of wine.

The master bedroom brings a king sized, a large dressing area, flat screen, fire place and incredible views out towards Mt Chincogan, Bryon Bay and a wide expanse of Pacific ocean. Master bathroom is expansive and stylishly appointed with shower designed for two and very large bath.

The Altitude kitchen is a chef's delight. Stylish, spacious and with all the equipment you need. Relax in the northern sunlight with a cocktail. The pool house provides lovely views of the valley to the ocean and houses a brilliant BBQ, fridge and cocktail making equipment.

An easy stroll down the hill from the main house is a funky converted hangar set-up to sleep an additional 6 guests. It has 2 bedrooms and a revamped caravan inside!

LOCATION
Altitude 261 is an easy 45 minutes drive from either Gold Coast or Bryon/Ballina airports, and is 12 minutes from Mullumbimby. The last kilometre of our road is known as the adventure mile (i.e. it's a bit rough). You certainly don't need a 4wd but we understand that driving won't be for everyone.

RATES
New Year’s & Easter: $14,000 (7 night minimum)
Christmas & January: $13,000 (7 night minimum)
Splendor in the Grass $2,000 per night (4 night minimum)
Long Weekends: $2,000 per night (3 night minimum)
School Holidays: $1,800 per night $11,000 per week (5 night minimum)
High season: September – December & February – May $1,400 per night or $9,000 per week (3 night minimum)
Low Season: June – August $1,100 per night or $7,000 per week (3 night minimum)

Plus an additional $350 cleaning fee per booking.
If you have 8 guests or less and only require the main house then we can offer you a reduced rate which will range between $450 - $800 per night depending on the time of year.
