Many would be content with arguably one of the areas best views of the Cape, but what makes this property truly remarkable are the views to the west. Captured from this elevated position is undeniably one of the most inspiring views of the hinterland, featuring the sheer cliffs, waterfalls and deep gorges of the Wilson’s Creek valley and Mount Chincogan.
The 350 square metre residence was designed and commissioned by the renowned local architect Malcolm Cooper around 1970. Flowing over three spacious levels most rooms capture the impressive views and all maximize the private position.
There are 4 bedrooms and 3.5 bathrooms over 2 levels with the lower entertaining level incorporating the kitchen, dining and living areas over a large open floor plan. The master bedroom with en suite, with two exposures and it's own private balcony overlooking the pool. Three guest bedrooms each of which can be set up as a king bed or as two king singles. These three bedrooms share two baths, one with a bathtub and the other with a shower. An additional fourth bathroom with a shower and fully equipped laundry is available on the main level, easily accessible from the house or from the pool. There is air-conditioning in all bedrooms and a fireplace in the living room for those cool winter night.
A large verandah extends the length of the house and is accessible from the second floor lounge, from the master and the guest bedroom.
Expansive terraced entertaining areas connect this level with the 11 x 5 metre pool, surrounded by tropical gardens, and featuring elevated views of rural pastures, mountains and the ocean beyond. Attached to the main residence at ground level there is garaging for 2 cars and ample storage space.
