The house is contemporary with open plan spaces. It makes creative use of timber, marble, architectural grade aluminum and concrete to realise a striking yet comfortable home, very well suited to the local climate. The heart of the house is a generous light filled living space with 4.5 metre high ceilings. For winter nights there is a fireplace and heated flooring throughout the house. In the summer northerly breezes and elevated louvers create a delightful cooling throughout. Should it be needed the entire house is serviced by air conditioning.

Extensive use of bi-fold doors allow the house to be opened up to the magnificent botanical like gardens and enormous undercover entertainment deck overlooking the north facing, 18 metre, infinity edge saltwater pool and valley beyond. The kitchen is extremely well appointed with extensive bench space, double ovens, a walk in pantry and a five-burner gas stove. It is fully equipped and ready for caterers to use if need be. There is a series of bi-fold windows which draw back exposing a huge servery to the outside entertainment area. Abutting the kitchen you will find the laundry; double car garage and media room.

The spacious master suite features magnificent valley views from the bed, the oversize soaker bath and the spacious double-headed shower. In this wing there are a further two bedrooms both ensuite to a generous bathroom with tub. They share a separate sitting room. From there you may walk out onto a small landing and enter a separate fifth bedroom.

On the second floor there is a light filled bedroom with a large private deck. Wake up to sight of the sun pouring through the canopy of 100 year old fig trees. The upstairs retreat also features a separate luxurious Carrere marble bathroom and a dressing room or office space.

Friday Hut Estate has the main house with 5 bedrooms as well as a separate studio so it sleeps up to 12 guests making it the ultimate family holiday home.

New Year’s & Easter: $8,500 (7 night minimum)
Christmas & January: $7,500 (7 night minimum)
Splendor in the Grass & Long weekends: $950 per night or $5,500 per week (4 night minimum)
School Holidays (except for Winter) $950 per night or $6,000 per week (5 night minimum)
High season: September – December & February – May $850 per night or $5,500 per week (3 night minimum)
Low season: June - August $750 per night or $4,500 per week (3 night minimum)
Plus a $150 cleaning & linen fee per booking
