Byron Surrounds Skennars Head

Waterford is a bright, sunny, colourful open plan living home - just perfect for your next holiday! It has been designed around the exceptional and uninterrupted ocean and farm views. In-fact, from the master bedroom you don't even have to lift your head off the pillow to see what the surf is like! Skennars Head is situated just south of the most easterly point of Australia making it one of the best spots in the world to watch the whales migrate.

The house has 4 bedrooms - 1 king, 1 queen and 2 doubles as well as a double sofa bed in the gym that can potentially sleep an additional 2 guests. There are three bathrooms and two balconies both with spectacular views of the farmland and ocean. There is a meditation room, lounge room, office, gym/ TV room, wireless broadband and fax. The TV room has an Xbox as well as lot's of games and movies.

The downstairs balcony has a BBQ and spacious entertaining area. There is a fire-pit with ocean views, large backyard and beautiful swimming pool. The outdoor living area overlooks the pacific ocean and a white uncrowded beach with great surf! The house comes with the use of a couple of surf boards, body boards and 4 push bikes.

Waterford is located in Skennars Head which is only a 5min drive to the village of Lennox Head where there are cafes, restaurants and a stunning tea-tree lake for swimming. Only 7 minutes to Ballina for shops, supermarket, cinema and domestic Airport and a 25min drive from the famous town of Byron Bay... so your close enough to the action for a visit yet far enough away to avoid the crowds!

There is a brand new bike path that you can use our bikes to explore. It is planned to extend from Ballina right through to Lennox Head. At the moment it runs from our place to Ballina, however we are hoping that by Xmas 2014 it will run through to Lennox. If you like walking, the headland walk from our place to Lennox is spectacular, you will more often than not see dolphins and whales in season.

Waterford is the ideal place for families with a fully fenced yard for the kids to play backyard cricket and run around in and close enough to the beach to walk, then wash off in our outdoor shower. Pool toys provided, however you will need to bring safety floaties for small children.

We have all the things you will need in a house to have a great holiday. Please not that this is not a party house due to neighbours being close-by. Noise levels are to be at a considered at all times.

The above prices are for 8 guests only. Each additional guest is charged at $90 per person per night.
