PROPERTY DESCRIPTION
Hillview, circa 1905, is a magnificent historical homestead situated on an original Dairy Farm in the beautiful Gold Coast hinterland. The large swimming pool/spa is surrounded by a spectacular back drop of mountains and heritage listed national parks.
The home recently underwent an extensive renovation and restoration. At 700 sqm, it is well appointed with all luxury modern conveniences whilst also featuring magnificent bespoke antique furniture. Perfect for a large gathering or family reunion.
The kitchen is an entertainer’s delight, spacious and well equipped with 2 ovens and 2 dishwashers, butlers pantry & coffee machine. The formal dining table will seat 12 guests comfortably or dine alfresco overlooking the mountains and pool. The home features 2 separate living/dining areas as well as a casual entertainment/garage space. The formal lounge/library with antique piano enjoys the ambience of the jet master double fireplace.
Wi-Fi, a BOSE sound system, 3 flat screen TV’s and an I-Pod docking station complete the technology requirements. Hillview is perfectly poised to enjoy expansive valley/mountain views and breezes.
The extensive colonial verandas entice lazy afternoons relaxing in the hammock or reading by the pool. Take a 35 minute bike ride to the beach, have a surf/ coffee and then cool down in solitude by the pool. A short drive over Tomewin mountain (20 mins) into the Tweed Valley opens a world of art galleries and organic gourmet dining options. Byron Bay and the delights of Bangalow are a mere 45 minute scenic drive.
Hillview is one of a kind, a snapshot of yesteryear with a modern twist. A perfect escape from reality, to retreat and relax, but close enough to enjoy the world class beaches and fine dining the Gold Coast and Northern Rivers offers.
This is also an exceptional wedding & event venue. The venue hire fee will range from $2,500 - $5,000 depending on the size of your event and you will need to book the house for a minimum of 3 nights at $1,000 per night.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Please note that all our homes have no party/function policies without pre-approval, additional venue hire fees and a local approved coordinator being hired to oversee the day.
Outside of your approved function times, no extra guests are allowed to the houses and noise levels are to be respectful at all times. There is to be no outdoor music or outdoor entertaining after 10pm.
Noise complaints will result in bond deductions and possible eviction. We apologise for being so strict but noise is a serious issue in the Byron Shire and keeping our neighbours happy is of paramount importance.
