Named after the poem by Robert Frost, Mending Wall was shortlisted in the 2009 World Architecture Festival and is now offered as luxury accommodation.

Located in Mt Irvine, a small village off the Bells Line Road in the Blue Mountains, this unique house gives a modern and thrilling take on the Blue Mountains experience. Enjoy the fresh air and majestic natural scenery by day and cosy fires with star filled skies at night. Mending Wall is the ultimate country retreat in which to relax by the fire, read a book from the impressive library or explore its beautifully landscaped, cool climate gardens – which also offer endless space for the kids to run around.

The location is also a perfect base to explore the neighbouring gardens and estates of Mt Wilson which are home to some of the finest exotic cool climate gardens in Australia – a divine feast for the senses and a photographer’s delight.

RATES

Christmas & New Year’s (8th Dec -31 st Jan)
$1,285.71 per night or $9,000 per week, 7 night minimum stay

Easter (3th -17th April 2017 & 28 March-3rd April 2018)
$1,285.71 per night or $9,000 per week, 7 night minimum stay

School Holidays 6th Apr-26th Apr & 14th Sep – 11th Oct
$1,000 per night, 4 night minimum stay

June Long weekend 9th – 12th Jun
$1,000 per night, 3 night minimum stay

Winter months – June, July & August (excluding the long weekend)
$1,000 per night, 2 night minimum stay

All other times of the year
$1,000 per night, 2 night minimum stay

Plus a $300 linen fee per booking.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Please note that all our homes have no party policies as noise travels to neighbours easily in both residential and hinterland areas. No extra guests are allowed to the houses and noise levels are to be respectful at all times. There is to be no outdoor music or outdoor entertaining after 10pm.

Noise complaints will result in bond deductions and possible eviction. We apologise for being so strict but noise is a serious issue and keeping our neighbours happy is of paramount importance.

Limited firewood is provided during winter months only. If you think you would like a larger supply for your visit to use in the indoor fire, please let us know at the time of booking so we can assist you with options for purchasing more. Please note that fire places and fire pits cannot be used during fire bans.
