There are very few that would disagree that Byron Bay is be the most enticing destination on the East Coast of Australia. This infamous beach town is a place of blissful existence where barefoot executive meets dreadlocked surfer meets yoga master, absolutely no-one is out of place here.

Byron Bay is on the doorstep to the world’s largest expanse of subtropical rainforest meeting mountains forged from ancient volcanoes whilst overlooking more than 300 kilometres of spectacular coastline. Pristine surf beaches are complimented by mild all year round temperatures of this sub-tropical region, allowing for a sun filled, outdoor lifestyle. Byron Bay itself has a uniquely Australian, but highly cosmopolitan lifestyle that visitors just love. It’s truly a place to restore the senses.

The hinterland of Byron Bay comprises of lush rolling countryside dotted with quaint and quirky townships; rugged cattle country; magical rainforests; macadamia & coffee plantations and deep river gorges disappearing up into the mountains.

One of Byron Bay’s wonders is the quality, variety and sheer abundance of fresh food.  Roadside stalls brim with avocados, macadamias, paw paws, melons, peaches, blueberries, bananas, and farm fresh vegetables.  Already renowned for bananas, seafood, dairy products and beef, the region is fast developing a reputation for being an epicurean odyssey.

Extending north of Byron Bay is 'Ewingsdale'. This suburb is approimately 5 minutes from Byon's town centre, yet position to give the stunning views to the lighthouse and the rural lifestyle option. Most of the houses are advantage with larger block sizes than average; this has given rise to Ewingsdale becoming on of the dress circle location in Byron Bay. Ewingsdale is luck enough to have some of the best guest houses that this area has on offer.

Heading 5 minutes south of Byron Bay is 'Suffolk Park' once known as the poor man's Byron Bay has now become very sought after for the beachfront location and is commanding premium prices for property. Positioned along Tallow Beach the suburb has a natural bush setting and a laid back relax vibe.

Surrounding suburbs are Suffolk Park, Baywood Chase, Broken Head, Lilly Pilli, Sunrise Beach and Ewingsdale.
